Side note, great idea actually.

Cool thought, but I’m wondering if a normal pickup towing a 5th-wheel Toy Hauler would work better. Those things have garages on the back big enough for at least two quads, so I bet a Smart (or Polaris Slingshot...) would fit.

I’m not so sure I understand the point of having a sleeper cab when you’re pulling an RV.

Most places don’t allow quads and side by sides on the street. This gives you a perfectly legal car to drive around your location while the massive vehicle remains parked in it’s camp site. The people that get stuff like this tend to basically live in them almost full time so the overbuilt tow vehicle makes for a comfortable towing experience.

Nap during a long drive, place for pets to sit and ride...

Sorry for the confusion, I just meant putting your Smart inside the Toy Hauler’s garage. It’s be awkward, but I bet it would fit. Then you just roll it right out. A much shorter, easier package, but with less living space.

Then where would you put the toys? Though the trailer in the video doesn’t look like a toy hauler at all.

It gives you a place to sleep when you end up in the dog house.

Looked like a ramp on the rear to me

At the 1min mark of the video you clearly see the ramp, so it is a toy hauler

The Smart would be the toy.
One of us needs another cup of coffee. Or both.

Probably both.

You could rig up a place in the back for more than one passenger to sit, and they can have fridges in the sleeper cab for quick access to snacks and drinks.

RV for the spouse, sleeper cab for the side piece

What’s funny is that the 5th wheel in the video is actually a toy hauler, so they probably already have some “other toys”

There have been a number of smart owners that bought toy hauler trailers so that they could carry their smarts with them. :)
